A well known builder wanted to build his own home. This two storey, contemporary home is luxurious and spacious, finished to a high standard. Inside a comforting ambience is created by the use of a simple, classic color schemes and 2.7m doors. The bi-fold doors open on to the alfresco area, to bring the outside inside.
This rundown weatherboard home was a renovators dream. The client transformed an unlivable, dark & dank house to an open plan, light filled, inviting home. Part of the project was to complete a sub-division so that an additional dwelling could be constructed on the rear of the land.
A heritage listed building. The front façade was retained in keeping with the homes traditional architectural appeal, however the rear of the building was completely remodeled and a substantial second story was added. The shell of the front existing house was retained to lower construction costs and a new upper level, comprising of four bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom was added. Other works involved the upgrading of the downstairs kitchen entertaining area and the addition of a swimming pool. The features of the original federation house were retained and the style of the additions created a seamless transition between the old and the new.
A modern, centrally placed multi-media room with open planned teaching facility either side that could also be transformed into lecture theaters with retractable seating, a music studio and a secure private teaching area for those more smaller classes was created as well. In addition the space houses a computer room. A qualified and experienced teacher was employed to help design a functional teaching and learning space for this project.
This modern design was created for a client who is a successful property developer. The design brief was to transform a three bedroom standard brick veneer single story dwelling a spacious, double story contemporary housing four bedrooms, a study and a master bedroom. The new layout has proved a great success and is drenched with light & spacious living areas.
The client brief was to construct a tennis pavilion, with a bar and entertainment area, external food preparation area with spacious bathroom facilities.
